Wooly Mischief
Here's a short blurb I wrote about a litter of four Jersey Wooly bunnies that we raised last year, accompanied by an adorable picture of one of the main characters, Bernard.
“Hello, Lottie! Have you seen any of my kits lately?”
Dahlia asked Lottie over the phone. All four of her kits had left an hour ago
to visit Izzy, and hadn’t been seen since.
“Umm, I have two. Astrid and Bernard are playing with
my two hooligans. I haven’t seen the other two though.”
“They were all supposed to go to Izzy’s, but according
to her, they never showed up. Could you ask Astrid and Bernard where they
went?”
After a short pause, Lottie was back on the phone.
“They told me the other two were kidnapped by sprites,
to be sacrificed to the king of snakes, who preys mercilessly upon the poor,
innocent sprites. That was their exact wording.”
“I should have known,” Dahlia said, “I’m calling
Sebastian.”
“Good idea. I’ll keep an eye on the other two.”
“Thanks, Lottie!” With that, Dahlia hung up and then
called Sebastian.
“Good afternoon, madam! How may I help you?”
“Have you seen Renna and Serawyn lately?”
“Ummmm.”
“Sebastian.”
“They were kidnapped by sprites, and are currently
awaiting being sacrificed to an evil snake king. A.K.A Me.”
“Lovely. Return them to me at once, or I shall call
Aravis.”
“Yes, ma’am.” Sebastian could almost always be
defeated by the mention of Aravis.
